DALLAS – The Concilio, a Dallas nonprofit that builds stronger communities by empowering parents, is hosting its annual fundraiser ‘Inspiring Families to Achieve Big Dreams’ fundraiser on Thursday, November 10 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event, presented by Target, will be held at The Empire Room (1225 N. Riverfront Blvd, Dallas, TX 75207) in the Design District. Paige Farragut, Senior Vice President of Ticket Sales and Service for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club, is the Event Chair, and Carolyn Carlson, Health Industry Director for Microsoft, is the Silent Auction Chair.
Since 1981, The Concilio’s mission has been to build stronger communities by equipping families and their children with effective tools to achieve limitless possibilities. 35 years later our mission remains the same and we will continue to build on this strong foundation…With you.
Proceeds from Big Dreams will benefit The Concilio’s parent engagement programs which accelerate change in communities by offering families education, resources, and support that transforms the health, education and quality of life in the community we serve. Because of our generous and committed sponsors including Target, Texas Instruments and Southwest Airlines we can continue to break down barriers in spite of families’ challenging environments.
For the fifth year in a row, Target is the Presenting Sponsor of the event. “At Target, we are committed to serving local communities where we do business,” said Jose Martinez, Property Management Market Leader for Target. “That’s why we are proud to partner with The Concilio as we work to strengthen the North Texas community and enrich the lives of our guests and team members.”
The cocktail event will feature music, dancing, food and drink, as well as a silent auction featuring memorabilia from the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks; Southwest Airlines roundtrip tickets; hotel stays at the Omni Dallas; and more. Tickets to Big Dreams are $60 per person and can be purchased at www.theconcilio.org.
