High school students from our Early Escalera and Escalera STEM programs toured Texas A &M University-Commerce on Saturday, March 3rd thanks to the Hispanic 100.
Education is vital for building better communities and maximizing the future well-being of families. Thanks to the Hispanic 100’s support, 40 high school students from Sunset and Mesquite High School (along with their parents) toured a university for the first time. Many of the students who attended the tour will be first-generation college students. The students and parents took home an unforgettable experience and valuable information that will help them pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.
