Community leaders and innovators joined us for The Power of Latinos Summit: Rebranding the Latino Narrative, presented by Truist in partnership with the Center for BrainHealth. The event was filled with engaging discussions, valuable networking opportunities, and inspiring moments as attendees explored fresh ideas and formed new partnerships.

The Power of Latinos Summit kicked off with welcoming remarks from Laura Bloom Gordon, CMO, emphasizing the Center for BrainHealth’s mission to advance brain health through innovation.

 

 

The Story of You, The Story of Us highlighted the power of personal and collective stories in shaping the Latino community’s future, while Florencia Velasco Fortner, President & CEO of The Concilio, delivered a powerful call for systemic change to better serve Latino communities.

 

 

Panels throughout the day covering essential topics:

  • Media Influence & Narrative Building Panel: A discussion on shifting Latino portrayals in media and the push for more inclusive narratives.
  • Fostering Collaboration: Strengthening the Hispanic Workforce across Key Industries Panel: Industry leaders discussed challenges and successful initiatives for empowering Hispanics in various sectors.
  • Enabling Financial Wellness: Collaborative Partnerships in Banking and Financial Services Panel: Leaders in banking explored innovative partnerships to improve financial inclusion and literacy.

The keynote by Jennifer Sanders, Executive Director of The North Texas Innovation Alliance, explored how AI can bridge the digital divide and drive social good.
